ALLIANCES, FACTIONS, AND ORGANIZATIONS

Western World Covenant- Human alliance between Great America (North+South America and colonies), The United Kingdom, Western European countries, and Australia. Currently seeking colonization with strong diplomatic bonds with alien species. Having the strongest military force is a benefit, and a well-established democratic system makes operations easier.

Eastern Asian Union- Human alliance between Russia and Eastern European and Asian countries, including Japan. The first Earth alliance to emerge, they seek to dominate and reconstruct the vision of humanity, aiming to side with alien races until they feel it time to relieve them of their resources. Their government is completely in charge of all operations, and they assume the highest population, making their military numbers frightening. However, their Communist system makes distribution of resources difficult, and sometimes citizens go without.

African-Asian Alliance- Alliance between Asia and Middle-Eastern Asian countries. Their agenda is to completely monopolize humanity, seeking to exterminate the other alliances and alien species. Formed from rebels, a shanty military force and weak government, they are ruthless warmongers who seek self-gain. They also make great mercenaries.

Pirates[/u]- Ship-robbing plunderers who seek fortune through theft and murder. Use intricate methods of boarding vessels so as not to destroy victimized ships before obtaining essential items.

[b]Treasure Hunters[/u]- Individuals who seek to make their fortune by exploring distant, sometimes uncolonized planets for lost treasures, which can be sold in the underground market for fetching prices.

[b]Gunslingers Union- A Union-based company of bounty hunters who seek out those who do injustice and gun them down for profit. Joining the Union is the only legal way to become a bounty hunter. Derelect bounty hunting may result in the offender's name on the Bounty Board. As with all Unions, members must pay a monthly fee to retain membership and continue to be given bounties.

Mercenaries- Soldiers for hire. These men and women of the galaxy are paid for their battle experience to serve under whichever flag pays the most, or offers the most killing. Mercenaries are responsible for their own supplies, guns, and ammunition.
