2D Rendering, Real Estate Websites - IdeaMarketers.com

It's hard to do your job effectively if you can't use photographs in your marketing materials. When the building that you're supposed to be selling is not built yet, is being gutted or is going through extensive remodeling, you can't roll up in front and take a photograph. Instead, a 2D rendering can provide you with the visuals you need.

When a photograph is impossible, it's not enough to make selling the building impossible. A 2D rendering is going to be the next best thing. It's an artistic drawing of the building that can be very lifelike. Everything will be drawn to scale, ensuring that you can provide the visual you need to make the sales that you are expected to make.

The 2D rendering that you have made will be detail-oriented. The whole thing will be created using a blueprint, a floor plan or both. After the basic sketch has been made with those, then you will need to fill in the blanks. Think about the colors and textures of the building. Then think about the furnishings or the landscaping.

A 2D rendering can work for indoors or out. When you are trying to sell a building, all of your marketing materials need to be out well in advance. This includes brochures, pamphlets and even marketing postcards. Since you can't wait around to use photographs, the 2D rendering can be just as effective -- and sometimes even more so.

There are a lot of prospective buyers that actually enjoy seeing a 2D rendering more than the photograph. The reason for this is because it's artistic and it allows them to see the possibilities. You may not be selling the building furnished, but you can furnish it within the rendering to show buyers what the building could look like.

You need to market as much as you can. You likely have mailing lists of people who are potentially interested in your next real estate project. By using the 2D rendering on the front of a postcard, you can get an immediate interest. People will see the building in all of its glory and they will want to be a part of it. You can choose the time of day in the background, making it look the best that it can possibly look.

As a real estate marketing person, your job is to paint the dream as a reality. You want to make sure people see all of the possibilities that can be made with the building that you are trying to sell them. When you are in control of the visual, you have that capability. A photograph is a photograph -- you can't really adjust it to fit your pitch. With a 2D rendering, however, you can make the adjustments you need to fit it into the reality you are trying to paint.

Your marketing materials have to be printed sooner than later if you want to be effective with the marketing of the new building. You don't have to wait around to take a photograph. A 2D rendering is going to provide you with more possibilities and a better looking visual for your materials.
